Career Summary

An Australian graduate, Mr. Maxwell obtained his initial medical training in Adelaide, South Australia.

In the UK, he completed his specialist training at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital Hospital for Women and University College Hospital in London.

Ultrasound training was obtained during a two year research appointment at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital and in a further one year research appointment at Guy’s Hospital in 1987.

He was appointed Senior Lecturer at the United Medical Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’, a Consultant at Guy’s Hospital in 1988 and Guy’s and St Thomas Foundation Trust in 1993.
